Triple Hart Acres
Fainting Goats
&
Standard Rat Terrier's/Decker's

We are located in Western Pennsylvania, between Slippery Rock and New Castle.

We bought our first fainting goat wethers as pets and fell in love. We began breeding in 2017. We want to share our love of these goats with others.

We have both IFGA registered (International Fainting Goat Association) and MGR registered goats(Myotonic Goat Registry)

Whether you are looking for a pet, something to show, or want to add to your breeding stock please let us know.
Our herd has a variety of color, some blue eyes and naturally polled.
We breed our does in fall so we usually have babies born in March.

All of our animals are up to date on vaccines, hoof trimming and deworming. Our goats also come with registration papers filled out and ready for you to mail in.

Here are a few facts about fainting goats:
  • They are easy keepers
  • Worm resistant
  • Not known to escape their pens or pastures
  • They are a meat goat with great bone to meat ratio
  • They are known as myotonic goats for their muscular condition known as myotonia congenita which causes them to stiffen up and often falling over when they are scared but also when they are excited. Fainters of all ages suffer from this genetic disorder of muscle tensing.
  • Neither the condition or the fainting are harmful, its is a hereditary genetic disorder, and it can add a lot of laughter to your life.
